How Paddle Type Flow Switch Works
It works so that a paddle that connects to the level is hanged in the liquid. The liquids start to flow immediately, leveling with the paddle; it diverts, therefore activating contacts in the microswitch. Then by using a flexible metallic bellow, the microswitch will be separated from the liquid. The setpoint can as well be adjusted.

1.The flow switch unit is made by building the length of the paddle at a certain angle. To know the paddle's length, it's the lowest point when the perimeter of the pipe is angled. It would be best if you left the paddle at a mark of not less than one inch.
2.The pipe has to be similar to the pipe's cutting face and 1- inch NPT mounting screw.
3. The flowing mark has to be side to side with the ground and the pipe on the screw hexagon.
4. Before installing the unit to the pipeline, you should apply the sealing tape to the screw and then make sure it is tight.

To get accurate results of the liquid flow rate, you should measure the variations at a vigorous speed. The speed depends on the changes in pressure. This pressure is the one that will force the liquids to pass through the pipe. Because you can not know the pipe's cross-sectional area, the constant speed will tell the flow rate. The balanced flow rate will be important because it will help set flow switches in a fixed close operation.
